OMG! I didn’t know they bloomed
what do they smell like?
Here before all the people who say they only bloom when stressed and this one is probably overdue for a repot
I did not know it did that!
That happened to me once I thought it was something like a seed that fell into it since I put mine outside in the fall and spring
I remember when i was in army (i’m finnish) and when returned to my home for holidays there was that sweet scent everywhere in my apartment. Looked around where it was coming and ta-dah! It was my sansevieria. Nice homecoming gift. I repotted it several weeks earlier and maybe it wanted to give some “thank yous” to me.
Heads up, they are very sticky! Make sure whatever’s below the pot won’t be ruined if they fall onto it.
Certain varieties bloom better than others, not necessarily stress but correct growing conditions too. I live in the Midwest and several of mine bloom but I also have 60 and 40 different varieties. They are all watered regularly, have fast draining substrate and all get sun.

Good smell or bad smell?
They V usually do this when stressed. Be sure to check it’s roots to see if it is root bound!
Mine has only bloomed once in the last 20 years and it was extremely pot bound. When I saw it I was wondering what is this little flower growing in my snake plant?

For 3 days I thought someone was burning plastic or rubber somewhere outside and the smell came in through a window, but turns out it was my blooming snake plant..
