Damage in what way? The roots or the branches?
I wouldn’t plant a fig(? It looks like?).. or any tree next to an important wall no.
Hi it is a fig, I had a whole post to go with it, even saved the wording in the drafts and apparently.. total fail.
Tldr (no-one read 🤣 ):
I don’t want to damage the foundations/stairwell behind so looking for suggestions that could go here -full ☀️, south facing, ideally food plants like herbs. But also if the fig could go and be kept small then great. It’s not flowered yet, about a year or two old.
