Mods removed my post yesterday because I committed the cardinal sin of letting my plant outside of the house. Posted again with less thigh. Had this girl in the family since I was born. Parents gave it to me about a decade ago. I don’t really have any secrets–it lives in an east facing sunroom in north TX. i water about once a week, fertilize around once a month when I remember. I’ve repotted a few times but its probably due for another. I’ve propagated it so many times; I like to think its my horcrux and spreading my birth-plant around will help me live forever.

This is incredible!! My aunt has a pothos like this, she’s forever cutting props and giving them as gifts when people come over!

Well other than the Reddit snafu (smh), I hope you had a most wonderful birthday. Yesterday.

Gorgeous plant, btw. So healthy and lush!

We have a pothos that we got in a flora arraignment when our son was born. He turns 19 in 2 months.

    6. Neat. I enjoy the lighting scheme in your house. I’m very particular about home lighting and it drives me insane when people have all the lights on and blinding ceiling lights in their home. It terrorizes me.

    7. That’s awesome. I still have mine that was given to my mom when I was born 49 years ago.

Wonder when we stopped giving plants like this to new parents?

The fact that your parents kept that alive for 36 years tells me you grew up in a stable home with responsible parents which’s pretty awesome

    9. Dang…. The thighs are just as stunning as the plant . I’m glad I scrolled .

Would you post a picture of it hanging in your house? What a beautiful pothos.

Funny how they didn’t remove your Last year’s post which was outside too!

Is there some sort of my Dorian Gray situation going on I wonder?

It’s because you didn’t share your care routine. Plant, and gym. Well done, sir!

“Congrats on the baby! Here’s something else to keep alive.”

    16. Your mom had a baby and she was given another thing to care for immediately? Rough

I’m also 36 and I’d like to see the video of you getting off that counter, “easy does it, bend at the knees”

I knew from those arms that I’ve seen this pothos before.

So what your saying is that your mortality is intertwined with the plant.

The idea of someone giving a plant to a family with a newborn is blowing my mind. Do they not think they had other things to do than worrying about a plant?
That being said, she looks amazing!! So clearly they were capable of managing both 🤣
