Good news for me as I slip into depression
Is that… a cactus in the same pot? How long have you had it?
You have a cactus in the same pot?
Wait whaaaaat mine loves to be wet tho. How do you have a cactus in there! 😳
Guys the cactus is there because it took root and I didn’t want to uproot it.
My alocasia also started doing well from the moment that the cactus took root. So it’s something like a lucky cactus.
Please don’t say it will die!😭😭😭😭
Exactly what I did for this exact plant
It’s SO BEAUTIFUL! I bought a Baby alocasia. Initially overwatered it and it lost leaves right away. But now it’s on the RIGHT track with TWO beautiful little leaves! Yay!
I’m so jealous! Gonna start ignoring mine now!
I decided one day to propagate my snake plant. I had about 6 cuttings in two containers with water. Well after a couple months (i’d add more water during that time) one of the containers got pushed into a corner and I forgot about it, for six months. When I was doing spring cleaning I found it, container bone dry and a snake plant that was 6′ tall! It was flopped over but still, it grew that much. I don’t know how it happened, but there it was. Thriving, in the dark corner ignored for half a year. Yes it had roots. I planted it.
The same can’t be said for my pink princess plants 🙃 makes me want to cry
Thats what im hoping I come back to after my trip, ill be gone for the week. Im getting them all watered and ready and hopefully a week of not looking at them will make them flourish. I can only hope 😅
Joke’s on you, OP, I’ve got a rocket and guitar fetish!
I want to touch those lovely leaves! 🤤💚 No speck of dust is not neglect OP!
He’s not wrong…
Good to know! I just bought one last week
Alocasias are thr absolute *bane* of my existence. They hate me and I hate them. Yours is stunning though!
I went on vacation a few weeks ago for two weeks and was worried about my plants, but I swear they doubled in size while I was gone. Even my monstera went unwatered and had a whole leaf almost finished when I got back and I live in a dry climate!
A lot of people overcare for their plants and end up killing them. If you let them do their thing provided they’ve got proper conditions, they will thrive.
