We’ve got accidental sunflowers all over this year! Some are really tiny, some have grown huge despite all appearing later in the season. We’ve just left them where they grew, they definitely bring a bit of cheer with them 😍 We’ll keep the seeds and use them next year 😊
Now I have an idea to take a handful of sunflowers seeds and put a couple each to random ppls gardens nearby 😂 for summer unexpected treats.
I’ve got an accidental sunflower growing in a pot under the bird feeder with my cucumber plants. The real kicker is that the accidental sunflower is faring significantly better than the sunflower I planted on purpose that got swarmed by blackfly earlier in the year.
