This has to be AI! These things just don’t grow! 🤯

Forget it. Love crotons, always want to have one. But they hate me so much, so I am pretty much sure their mission on earth is to die on me.

I’m jealous too! Hahaha

Can you ask your neighbor how long has this croton lived?

It is beautiful.

I’m convinced these things do not die. I think that’s why every house in my FL neighborhood has them in their front yard. You don’t need to touch them, here at least. I have a bunch and I don’t water them or anything and they’re thriving.

I’ve never kept a croton alive.

Omg fuck this plant. I look at it funny and it drops it’s leaf. I try to care for it and it drops 700 leaves.

I have never grown this plant or had any desire to BUT others on the thread showed the flowers which look like coral to me so mmm… grrr.
Just loved the specimen imaged and your title, heh. I have known plants that seem to live out of spite. Mhmm.

I got this plant gifted half a year ago. It started dying immediately next to all my other plants that were fine. I don’t understand it.

Got one, a little one ofc, for a few weeks now and it’s doing great. They need lots of direct sunlight and they don’t like their soil to be dry (so keep it moist).
Maybe that’s why some here have troubles with keeping those alive?
