Wir müssen das Haus bewegt und es gibt diesen riesigen Rosenbusch im Hof. Mir wurde gesagt, dass es 40 Jahre alt ist. Es hat eine riesige Blüten von Tellergröße im Juni und ein zweiter Flush kommt jetzt durch. Ich bin ein sehr neuer Gärtner, also frage ich mich, wie viel ich das an die Holzteile zurückschneiden kann, um es zu ermutigen, ein bisschen voller als groß als groß zu sein. Alle anderen Tipps willkommen, ich bin ein kompletter Neuling.

It’s in the ground?
I would clear around the base so the rose has much less competition. A tablespoon of bonemeal and then mulch with bark.
You can snip out the bare stems and all the leaves with rust or blackspot. There is still time for new flowers between now and November (depending on where in the country you are).
Make a diary note for January and cut it all down to 50cm high/ knee height.
At the end of February scrape back the much and add two spades of farmyard manure/chicken manure and a handful of bonemeal.
Then put the mulch back.
Your rose will regenerate and grow new branches and flower much lower down.
