If you have an iPhone you can take a picture, it pops up a leaf icon and tells you what plant it is
(ik you’re being silly but just in case this helps)

The big box stores where I live have the names on them but regular supermarkets are like this. 😅

That’s why I have a plant identification app called “picture this” on my phone. Not only is it good for identifying wild vegetation, but I use it regularly when a tag says “tropical blend.”

Real.
I like to buy plants at a local hardware store. They’re healthy and inexpensive there. But they are rarely ever tagged 100% accurate.
It’s always something like “Philodendron (Prince) Mix” because they have Prince of orange’s, Pink princesse’s, and White princesses for the same price.
Took me a few weeks to figure out if I have a Prince of orange or Autumn.

“Tropical houseplant” would be nice.
I am used to tags that say “upright foliage”
OKAY.

My garden center labels them correctly unless they’re small. In that case they’re labeled as “plant” and you’re on your own.
