Thanks for the correction, I thought it was a Southern Thistle. We have something like that in northern Louisiana, but not exactly that . Know they aren’t Scottish thistle but….

That’s an artichoke! They turn into these amazing purple flowers if you let them go.
The Vivid exploding colors of a blooming artichoke can’t be beat.
