I have one just like this, I know it as a polka dot plant, but my app calls it a Hypoestes phyllostachya
One of my faves that I have. Polka dot plants! It likes bright to medium indirect light and once the soil’s dry an inch down, water it. They don’t like being too dry. Its so sad seeing leaves wilt and drop off after forgetting to water once XD At least this is the care mine loves!
GORGEOUS THATS WHAT
I love these. Delicate leaves, fuzzy stems, and beautifully colored. Mine was a bit of a slow starter but she’s really taken off these past few months!

Don’t let it dry out as they die back FAST. But they prop REALLY well in water & in soil. These also grow quite fast too.
Mine reminds me of a fittonia — dries out, then has a CRAZY response immediately, gets super crispy & flops over. Drama queens.
I love polka dot plants! They come in a few different colors. They like to be damp or they get dramatic when they dry out. Trim them to the length you like and propagating them is super easy. These are one of the few plants where a chunky soil mix isn’t ideal for it.
Ooh I have one of those… that lost most its pink, turned green, grew tall and gave me purple flowers. Lol
Polka dot. One year back I brought a plant from friend’s house. He gave me in four colours. All looks beautiful. Unfortunately one after another all were dead within 1-2 months.
Do not over water. Do not under water. Not too much sun. Not too much shade.
I can’t keep one of these alive to save my soul!

I got one of these ans I was so in love with it. The fucker immediately got mouldy and died. It was *weak*. Only the strong survive in my collection.
I keep these in my frog tank (with lamp) and they do really well unless I forget to water it/let the substrate dry out.
I love these but I gave it too much sun and the pink faded 😭
