      Lilac also comes in a lot of different colors and scent variation.

      Lilac! Lovely fragrance and pretty to look at. They also come in white, although the light purple color is more common

      We have a Korean variety that I just love. It blooms a couple of weeks later than the regular lilacs and the smell is heavenly. I enjoy sitting on our back porch just smelling the air. 🥰

      These light purple lilacs are my favorite colour, scent and flower 💜 many candles try to imitate the scent and some come close! But nothing beats the real thing 👌 shame they bloom for such a short period

      That is not just a lilac that is an old-fashioned lilac. Some of the newer breeds are bred more for how they look with the old-fashioned ones smell spectacular.

      I bought a lilac bush last year. It takes 4 years to grow to maturity and produce flowers! Hopefully, I can keep the deer away!

      Syringa vulgaris, commonly called Lilac. It is a wonder! Deer resistant, can tolerate dryness, or rain, beautiful fragrant flowers.

      I have one. Flowers last for a very short period of time. Also once mature, it sends suckers out like crazy. I’m constantly cutting them at the root.
