How many years old does a blueberry plant have to be to start producing berries? I bought a small plant at Lowe’s earlier in the summer and I’m wondering if I’ll see any blueberries this year

Critters ate mine – sad
I killed my beautiful blueberry plant last summer. I stupidly trimmed it while it was still hot out. It always gave me yummy blueberries. I’m so sad about it. I bought a new one but it’s super slow growing. Probably won’t see any fruit on it for a long time. Definitely not this year.

I’ve got a blueberry plant, about a year ago and I think its big enough to produce fruit. But still no sign of any.
