Looks too small to me. It might survive fine the way it is, but not grow much bigger since the roots have little room.

Mine has a similar sized pot and is really enjoying it (more stems but less tall than yours). From the couple times I’ve repotted mine, snake plants don’t have crazy root systems so I think until you see roots out the bottom it’ll be ok, they’re hardy plants! Love your one, looks like bunny ears!

Yes, but I would move it up in the pot so the soil line is at the top of the pot.

Yes it’s fine. You will know when it needs to be repotted because snake plants have thick, tuberous roots that will literally make the pot start to bulge when it’s outgrown its pot.

I wouldn’t change the pot unless you see roots in the drainage holes in the bottom. The top of the plant has nothing to do with the pot size but it’s the size of the root ball that determines the pot. There’s a good chance this one ends up being too big even. If the plant isn’t struggling in anyway, I would just leave it. Changing the pot may only cause stress. If you go to a bigger pot before the roots are ready for more space you’ll very likely get root rot.

That pot is perfect and as others have said, no need to repot until the plant tells you it needs it. I have a 30 year old snake plant that I have repotted one time in those 30 years. They like to be snug.
