And I’d be like ok then and turn around and quietly go back into the house

You must be doing some good work in the garden to live alongside that monster.

What a handsome beast! At least they are harmless, unlike adders.

What an absolute beauty. You’re so lucky to have such a magnificent visitor. Please do make sure it has some water in these very hot & dry conditions.

It’d be his/her outhouse if I found that. I’d likely just leave water outside for it and never venture in there again 😂

Awesome find. They’re great for garden pest control. Make sure you leave some water down, everyone’s thirsty in this weather.

so cool!! although I’d be terrified to see a wild snake, how awesome is it that your gardens home to one 🥹 love our wildlife

    10. I knew we had snakes but I was thinking like noodle like things, not this beast.

      Very pretty though…

Erm, may I ask where in the Midlands?!

    11. Late 30’s and I know snakes exist in this country but not seen one. I would absolutely shit myself if I did. My house would be up for sale the next day.
