  1. Saving to see what others post bc I am also looking to prop my rose bush

I tried to prop about two dozen cuttings last summer (without really knowing what I was doing) and I had several that I propagated in water actually produced roots and shoots so I potted them. One made it and is thriving under my grow light. I cut away most of the leaves and just set it in fresh water. It took quite a long time to root. And I waited until it also started to make leaves before I potted it.

  3. Google “Der Rosenmeister” in Ithaca, NY he has a video on YT (I think from Flock Finger Lakes- not sure) and he walks you through it. Leon knows his stuff. I spent an afternoon with him about 20 years ago & he gave me about a dozen clippings from his garden, we potted them up & all but one or two made it & are still going today.
