I was just watching a documentary and they highlighted there are two species of bats that house inside of the cacti as well as feed off the nectar from the flowers helping to pollinate them. Way cooler than a wooden bat house imo. Although you’d have to tolerate the holes in the cacti to allow for the bats to live and I assume the nets are to keep such things from happening. Still a gorgeous display.
