Bis heute wusste ich nicht, dass ein Doppel-Tulp eine Sache war. Ich bin kein einmal ein hobbyistischer Blumenstudier. Ich habe gerade ein paar Sachen von meinem Vater abgeholt, der nach Arbeitern ein riesiger greenthumber Landschaftsgestalter ist. Die Blume auf dem Foto wurde in Nord -Iowa angebaut.
Ich habe noch nie eine Blume gesehen, die Pollenteile in den Falten der Blütenblätter versteckt (erscheint produktiv, aber sowieso). Ich habe auch nicht gesehen, dass die Blütenblätter kleine Finger haben, die zusammen wie in Bild 3 zusammen waren. Es ist auch extrem fragent.
TL: DR: Ist das eine Doppel-Tulpe? Dank im Voraus!

Yes this is a tulip! And a variety of white double tulip, sometimes called peony tulips instead.

These are phenomenal. I’ve seen double tulips but not a peony tulip. Where are you located? ( if you don’t mind)
You’re correct about it being counterproductive to have the reproductive parts of the flower hidden between the petals. That’s because ‘doubled’ flowers like this come from breeders finding and propagating plants with mutations that cause various other parts of the flower to express the “wrong” genes, causing them to develop into more petals instead of whatever they were supposed to develop into.
This results in more full flowers with aesthetic appeal to humans, but which don’t benefit pollinators at all (even more so than the “single” versions that are already exotic or highly-derived cultivars that don’t provide the ecological value that native species would).
