Meine Mutter hat mir diese Sago -Palme zum Muttertag gebracht und ich muss wissen, ob es repottiert werden muss? Und auch und alle Tipps und Tricks sind willkommen 🤗
It’s a beautiful healthy looking plant. Should be in a bigger pot but not huge somewhat deeper & maybe an inch wider. Use a cactus/palm potting soil. Do not overwater they are susceptible to root rot. Enjoy!

Keep in mind these are toxic to pets

Tip for this plant is remember that he is extremely slow growing. He will make maybe one or two leaves a year. He’s also a gymnosperm so it doesn’t flower, it will make a cone similar to a pine tree, but that won’t happen for decades. He’s just a tiny baby. He needs really high light.

Sago palms put out one flush of new leaves per year. The more light, the bigger the leaves and the happier the plant.

Cut half the roots off. Repot. Ihad one for years in the same pot. Or bigger pot. You’re choice
