You really could carefully pull them out and enough roots will remain that whatever gets ripped apart really won’t matter.

I don’t think you’ll have any problem getting them out, the opening is plenty big. I’ve used much smaller.

I wonder if you could empty the water out and then just carefully pull one side entirely through the bottle- not sure how flexible the stems are. Or even just pull one side through enough to get the root mass out, then cut/detangle it, and once you have one side free you can just pull out from each direction (so you don’t have to feed the whole thing through)
