Yes please, also just you know all parts of arum Lilly are poisonous for pets and irritate your skin. Wash tour hands every time you handle them.

Yes. Definitely.
Just use a garden trowel (or your fingers) to tease out, even slightly chop into, the coiled roots at the base. Its ok if you cut some away there where they are very coiled together. Just a little. This will encourage new root growth and prevent them from continuing to coil. Also gently tease some roots at the sides in the lower section a wee bit loose, just with fingers is fine, for same reasons.

This is a Calla Lily and doesn’t need to be repotted! It will go to rest once it blooms that’s when to repot. It’s bulbs in the pot.

Yes, repotting is a must. When I give plants/flowers, I typically gift it with the new pot/soil so that it can be transplanted within days after I gift it. It’s typically already outgrown the initial pot at purchase (or very close to it). Your son picked a beautiful one.

definitely repot and happy mother’s day
Just a heads up, if you have cats you shouldn’t keep these beauties in the house
Yes. Trim off a lot of the exposed root. Fluff up the soil & add new potting soil. It will love you for it!
