It’s a tradescantia. It will root. That leaf at the bottom is useless and you can just peel it off. Pop what’s left in the dirt and water it and you’ll have a new plant in no time.

Put it in dirt and water. Also put any of the leaves that come off into the dirt. It may or may not root. But I’ve grown roots on surprising pieces, and others that should work, just don’t.

The node is where the leaves grow , so you definitely have a chance with that one.
I would plant it deep about two nodes with the remainder on the top growing out of the soil and then it should root up and grow for you.

Take off the bottom two leaves. Theres usually nodes where the leaves come out

The leaves grow from nodes, then if it has leaves has to have nodes.
Try it. Tradescantia’s be crazy. They survive like anything
Correct. Roots grow from nodes, so I think you’re out of luck with this one.
If there’s leaves, there’s nodes! 😊
Stick it in soil and it should be fine.
Peel off the bottom two leaves. It’s quite a big cutting so I don’t see why it wouldn’t, as I assume there’s stem further up.
There’s should be nodes in there.
