I have only done this a couple of times, if anyone else comments, they’re probably more qualified than me. So keep that in mind lol.
I had gotten a free satin one like that as a bonus plant with the same looking single root that yours appears to have. I put it in a tiny plastic pot filled with sphagnum moss and tried to bury the little bit of root that was there. Within a month I could see the roots through the holes in the pots. I waited about a month longer and when I took it out, there was so many roots wrapped around in circles. So personally, I’ve had luck with using sphagnum moss and watering it once it was getting dryer but never dried out. Hope this helps!
