Hallo zusammen
Ich möchte eine goldene Weiden in voller Größe (Salix Chrysocoma) anbauen. Also kaufte ich diesen Topfbaum online von Jacksons Nurseries, Staffs.
Ich bin besorgt, dass der angebotene Baum eine seltsame Form ist, wenn nicht beschnitten, er wurde möglicherweise auf irgendeine Weise eingeschränkt, was den horizontalen Hauptzweig verursacht. Und dass diese Form den Baum einschränkt, der die volle Höhe und Form erreicht.
Was denkst du, wird, wenn es in Ordnung sein wird, oder soll ich es zurückschicken?

This looks like it’s been bent over to encourage low branching so it will in effect develop as a natural short pollard. If you want a standard tree you’ll need to specify this to the nursery e.g. 10-12 standard with a single leader.
You might be better off going to somewhere like Barchams.

Find one that’s growing and cut a piece off. Place it in water and wait for roots to grow. Plant it up and you have a willow tree….
