Im letzten Frühjahr gepflanzt, hat sich im Sommer gut gepflanzt. Sie sehen jetzt nicht gut aus. Sind sie tot oder warten nur darauf, wieder ins Leben zu gehen?

I trimmed back my clematis (in a pot) about 4 weeks ago as it looked dead to the world, and it is putting out new leaves now. I’d probably pull the dead leaves off without cutting the branches and see what happens
Yeh I think the lavender is a gonner. Some of my lavender is already pushing out the flowers.
We were absolutely convinced our clematis died around Christmas in subzero weather. Looked dead as a doornail. Then suddenly just in the last couple of weeks it sprung back to life and put on a foot of growth.
