    Just let them do their thing. They’ll figure it out. I notice that when they’re disturbed they have a harder time.

    They got it without any help. And burying them just means the sprouts take longer to get to light. They’ll anchor in soon enough and grow up.

    Don’t bury them, I’d leave em until the mother-leaf shrivels up and dies. By then you should start seeing baby buds and more established.
