Good afternoon, hope you’re enjoying the sunshine if you’re lucky enough to have it where you are.

We’ve recently moved in to our new home and the garden is pretty much a blank slate.  It currently comprises artificial grass (bleugh!), bare compacted soil and a few dandelion patches thrown in for good measure.

My plan is to remove the artificial grass and sow a low growing flowering lawn, with planted beds to follow at a later date.  My question is whether you think we can get away with just turning over the top layer of earth or whether a rotator will be needed?

      Thanks in advance.
