The first picture is showing the sun at 2.30 pm, so half the raised beds are shaded but in the summer they will get full sun.
What’s growing in the next few pictures are daffodils and some garden escapee varation of plant that grows everywhere and attracts bees.
Will the daffys bloom or should I cut my losses and plant something else?

Like any plant you get good years and bad years, my daffs haven’t been fantastic this year.
My plan is to let them grow until they die back and then dig them up and replant the bulbs spreading them out a bit more. And drop a load of compost into the bed they’re in.

If it helps you feel any better I’ve had one single daff pop up in my garden. In fairness the garden is new to me so I’m still discovering what appears, but I just think it’s funny to see one solo daffodil living its best life out there. 🌼
