Danke 💖

I’d train some raspberries against the wall and then maybe some herbs in the main part and then strawberries at the edge ro trail over. If it’s a sunny spot maybe a tomato plant in the summer.

You’ve got a happy Rosemary so Sage, Thyme and Chives would probably be happy and so would the bees. Second the idea of planting what you would actually use in the kitchen. There are a couple of vertical accent plants that are fun and no commitment as they’re annual or biennial – bronze or green Fennel, and Angelica. They self seed with enthusiasm but you just pull any seedlings you don’t want.

    3. Is there any sun? If there is, herbs are a good idea. Bees love Borage, and monarda (bee balm). I’d put in some nasturtiums just because i love them. Then any herbs you actually eat – chives always do well for me, and parsley is easy.

I’d definitely go for an espalier fruit three- a peach or a plum.

It grows slowly on dwarfing root stock and each year you train the new branches and get a new tier of fruit.

Keep going until you get to the height you want.
There are lots of espalier training vids! .

Will go for thyme, chives and raspberries to climb the posts – thank you all!
