Salvaging a peace lilly. Already took care of my orchids earlier this week.

The slight rain and low wind gods have blessed me today, my jobs are none.

I did my repotting on Thursday and then was completely crippled yesterday from all of the bending/lifting. I still need to give it a week or so but it appears everyone has survived the repotting.

    5. Seedlings that will live in the greenhouse are going into the ground in there today. Mostly tomatoes peppers and lettuce and cleaning up the greenhouse in general. Zone 5b so I have a heater for the cold nights. It shouldn’t run too much from here on out. Does greenhouse count for indoor gardening?

I’m just going to give kissies and turn on their music. Everyone is happy right now.

Check all of my outdoor potted plants (succulents and some spider and jade plants) and see who looks thirsty.

Check thirst level on all indoor plants.

Soak all orchids (8), which takes 2 rounds because of the limited number of plastic containers I have, as well as counter space in the kitchen.

Soak my slightly too large collection of air plants. Also have to do in 2 rounds cause I can’t fit them all in the soak buckets and drying rack at the same time 😅.

Need to dig out 3 large spider plants, trim their roots back a little, and put back in the pot. Been putting that off. They are already in a size 10 pot, I can’t put them in a bigger pot because then the pot wouldn’t fit on the plant stand anymore.

Oh, and glare at my peace lily while contemplating about committing plant murder.

    10. Check if we need to water today and admire any new growth since last week when I checked lol

I have to take my leggy tomato seedlings and stuff them down in the dirt in hopes they grow better.

Gotta get some aphids off of a jade, but I think that’s it for indoors. We moved recently, and I have been putting off the plant placement task, so that’s always on the table. Was thinking about potting up some lettuce starts, too. Maybe pot the native elderberry stems I collected recently.

I just threw a Pothos in my aquarium. I guess that’s work

Bottom watering the Hoyas (done), propping my peperomia ruby cascade, flushing the semi-hydros, and potting the three monstera cuttings I have ready for my daughter. Oh, and checking my poor H. Neo-ebudica for scale after I’ve been treating it. Pretty sure she’s a goner 💀

Funny u would ask because mine was a doozy. I transplanted my huge flf then went in my back yard garden and worked from 10:00 am in the morning till 4:30 pm. I just got out the shower. Long long day and I am spent 😂🤣😂🤣

      Water my 3 Thanksgiving cacti, including Bertold, the one who went rogue and decided to be an Easter cactus this year (he’s close to being renamed Mr. Bertold Peep);

      Water baby Olympia fig tree

Water the fish mint – longer days have her growing lush again

Do research on how to revive my pink winter blooming jasmine. I saved it from death but now there’s only one stem.

      For Sunday

Pot up a few Pothos cuttings

Start a pot of cilantro! 8″ seed discs make light work of planting herbs. Cilantro and thyme are easy to start indoors. Dill is an absolute PITA – do not recommend. It’ll die if the dog so much as looks at it wrong.

Try to find the missing root trainers in the garage so I can finally sow my ornamental sweet peas for the season. I’m really annoyed I can’t find them, I’ve looked all over for about 3wks

      Sow 3rd round of sunflowers

Sow 3 pumpkins. This is probably an epically stupid idea, given we are in a drought here and the almanac forecast is for more of the same this summer. God loves a trier though, right? 😬

      Today is leaf cleaning day!

Pop on my cotton gloves to dust my babies 🩷

Also gotta figure out where to put my two new philos, new pothos and ficus 😅😅
