These are the first layer of the bulb lasagne I planted in October. I used to plant crocuses as the top layer, but the local squirrels developed a liking for crocuses.
Oh, they’re lovely, particularly the pale blue ones! What cultivar are they?
Looks gorgeous! I pushed sprigs of holly in above where I planted crocus bulbs this year to deter squirrels and so far it seems to have worked!
You must be in a warm area
I’ve only just put our iris bulbs in their planters it said plant march-may…. Good to know they keep well over the winter in situ.
Was surprised to see mine flowering this week! Felt a bit early for them
