Hallo alles. Mein Nachbar wurde mir ein paar Töpfe mit sehr schlecht aussehenden Schlangenpflanzen gegeben und ich möchte sie wirklich retten.
Die Blätter sind unglaublich dünn und angesichts ihrer überproportionalen Höhen flohen viele davon. Dies wird nicht durch die Tatsache geholfen, dass die meisten von ihnen kaum Wurzeln haben – mein Nachbar scherzte nicht, als sie sagten, sie hätten sich nicht richtig um sie gekümmert 🙁
Soweit ich weiß, sind Schlangenpflanzen sehr belastbar und können eine ziemlich einfache Pflanze sein, um die man sich kümmern kann. Wie kann ich angesichts ihres sehr, sehr traurigen Zustands sie jedoch retten?
Ich habe ihnen bereits einen frischen Kompost und etwas Feed gegeben, und ich werde sie mit ein oder zwei richtigen Stockwerken unterstützen (bitte ignorieren Sie den kleinen Stock auf den Fotos; es ist nur vorübergehend). Gelbe Blätter wurden ebenfalls verworfen. Aber was kann ich sonst noch tun, um das Wurzelwachstum zu fördern und die Blätter zu „mästen“ (dh sie fleischiger machen)?

Never personally owned one, but I do recall my mum giving one some milk…but not sure why
It’s just grown without enough light, so the leaves are thin because it was stretching towards the light. Those ones won’t thicken, but new ones will grow with a decent amount of light. It’s probably been underwatered too, it should hold itself up better once it’s had time to fully rehydrate.
I wouldn’t add lots of stuff or do anything complicated – it will probably stress it more. Just a decent water (making sure it can drain), moving to a sunnier spot (not glaring direct sun, it will burn), and letting it do it’s thing.
Hardly any roots is fairly normal for these they seem to grow very little root in comparison to plant size. They need a cactus soil or soil that has lots of perlite, small stones or orchid bark in to aid drainage.
They can survive in low light (which is what has happened here) but prefer full sun. Water sparingly in winter – treat it a bit like a cactus! As the other person said these leaves won’t thicken but new ones will come through better.

Probably over watered or incorrect compost (needs cactus mix) holding it wet and insufficient light.
These are called mother in laws tongue in UK. Just saying………
