How can you be sure they’re regionally appropriate if you don’t know what they all are? Seems like a good way to unintentionally spread invasives….

Yes! I like finding invasive mimosa plants and growing them as house plants. I have mimosa pudica, pink mimosa and yellow mimosa!

One of most exciting little things I do.
Coolest thing I got was a thick little woody root with a long stem and two simple leaves, I found in a pot on my balcony. Turned into an Australian Bottletree that has grown to 70 cm by now with many 3 to 5 fingered leaves. I live in Germany so it might be a seed I found in the botanical garden.
