Meine Clematis hat einen Punkt erreicht, an dem der Großteil davon nur oben wächst und die mittleren/unteren Abschnitte etwas nackt sind. Ich habe irgendwo gehört, dass ich das im Februar zurückschneiden soll, könnte aber mit etwas Hilfe tun, wohin ich es zurücknehmen kann! Jede Hilfe geschätzt. Ich habe heute und aus dem letzten Jahr ein Bild davon gemacht, damit Sie die Lücken sehen können.

There are different pruning rules for different types of clematis; do you know what variety it is?
I’m not sure how you’d get growth in the middle without losing the beautiful top. I guess you could try and unravel some of it and weave it in to the trellis at lower levels?
Personally i think I’d just plant another one and train it to fill the lower area!
There’s 3 groups. Group 1 flowers earliest, group 2 mid summer and group 3 in late summer.
General rules are group 1 you just dead head, group 2 you prune about half the growth off and group 3 you cut close to the ground.
Having said that I’ve accidentally cut group 1 clematis and all the other groups that have gotten complete tangled and they’ll recover but you may lose flowers till the following season. Best thing to do is to let it flower then prune right after. Hope that helps
