Wie Sie sehen, ist mein Baum sehr unglücklich, mir wurde gesagt, dass er einen größeren Topf braucht. Da sich dies jedoch bereits in einem riesigen Topf befindet, frage ich mich, ob dieser (25–30 %) größere Topf ausreicht?

Is this a bay? They can grow quite tall. To be brutally honest id say if you were intent on keeping it in a pot it should have been trimmed back years ago to keep a nice shape and to be suited for a small pot. As it is its likely rootbound so can easily dry out ona few sunny days as theres little soil.
If its got sentimental value try taking cuttings in spring or whenever recommended by a google search for bay trees (if thats what it is)
Otherwise Id just get a new small one if you like that, prune it more, and regard this as beyond help as even if you rescue it it will be a poor shape and forever need very frequent watering unelss its ina massive pot..
Should be, you’ll need to get most of the old compost off and replace it with something like John Innes no 3. Could probably remove about 25% of the old root growth.
I think this would be better done in early spring though, the shock might not be good for it over winter.
Neither of those pots is massive. The black one doesn’t appear to have drainage holes, which are essential.
Those pots would be large for a single tulip but are small for a single tree.

I’m quietly impressed you got it to that size, in that pot, Its still plenty of green even shooting at lower levels . That size of up size is negligible for a tree that big, I have an apple in a pot that’s “sold” reason was for growing potatoes planter but there are many super large planters that would be more attractive for such a beautiful tree., , though they do take a lot of soil and you do need a lot of drainage level in the bottom , they do become a very non mobile pot if you wish to relocate it , you can slide them carefully i use an old curtain under mine when i need to to drag it small distances , but need to watch your back.. But then that could pruned back hard gently cut back all dead wood to green on the more tired areas and just shape back to a more manageable size the healthier area , but after a quiet year in a bigger pot it would take off again and allow you to really shape it .
( Edit after looking again my eye not been to scale awake what dimensions is the planter it is currently in, it might just be better doing the hard prune back and leave it happy in the pot its in than disturb it , its done so well , hard prune then just a suitable feed regime over the next year to supplement the nutrients removed from its current home getting so big) .
No, get one twice as big. Repotting is fine now as overdue and tree will appreciate it. Just keep an eye on it in dry and sunny or windy days as it will need TLC watering for the next 6 months to help it establish which it can’t if soil is dried out.
