    It looks like a Dieffenbachia. Since it has some roots at the bottom you can plant it, but if I were you I preffer cut the top with the leaves and propagate it to make the new plant less tangled.

    The remaining part can be plant it or divided to make more new plants, but the new leaves don’t gonna be as big as the current ones.

  2. I have one of these.
    You can stick it in the water and it will root just fine. Then you can decide to leave it in water or plant it in dirt.
