All they need to do now is to die off where you originally planted them – in perfect conditions as per the label – and you’ll be a full-fledged gardener!

Nature always finds a way, and there’s all the concrete evidence you need..

In my experience plants that chose their own spot grow a lot better than when I pick a spot for them. I’ve even relocated a bunch of plants after I saw a random specimen thriving in a completely unexpected spot.

But when I intentionally plant something it bloody dies. Looking at you, Wisteria.

I work in a big truck yard all paved over. But the grass and weeds still break through somehow.

It’s nice to know that if we all disappeared, the plants would be able to take over

    6. Plant: aah the Ph of this soil isn’t right.

      Also plants: HECK YEAH, CONCRETE!!!!

I had seen rows of hollyhocks growing out of the gaps at the pavement better than the ones in the nearby garden (probably where the seeds came from in the first place.)

I’m very tempted to just leave my main flowerbed alone next year and see what happens.

Yes plants are weird but those plants should be on boarders not at the side of houses .

This year I planted a few Brunnera & Actaea, as various gardening websites listed them as “top plants slugs hate”.
…..my slugs literally ate one of them completely over a weekend, all the way down to the roots.
