    Wie verwende ich mein spezielles Wachstumslicht? Ist es zu stark?


    Hallo zusammen, vielen Dank im Voraus fürs Lesen.

    Ok, ich versuche also, mit dem Indoor-Gartenbau anzufangen. Ich liebe die Idee, die Umgebung für die Pflanzen automatisieren und kontrollieren zu können. Nicht dem Wetter ausgeliefert zu sein. Also habe ich mir natürlich eine Pflanzenlampe besorgt. Als ich recherchierte, welche Art ich mir zulegen sollte, wollte ich die stärkste nehmen, die ich bekommen konnte, und das hat mich zu der Glühbirne auf dem Bild geführt. Sie ist superstark und superkondensiert. Allerdings hat sie meine erste Ladung Pothos-Stecklinge offiziell getötet. Zu Asche verbrannt… Also versuche ich herauszufinden, wie man diese Lampe benutzt, und würde mich über die Erfahrungen und Tipps anderer dazu freuen, um das Ausprobieren einer Menge Pflanzenchargen zu vermeiden.

    Bisher läuft es etwa 9 Stunden am Tag, während es etwa 35 cm vom Pothos entfernt ist, und es scheint auf einige Sukkulenten herab, wobei der Pothos zwar etwas seitlich steht, aber auf jeden Fall noch unter dem Licht steht.

      The picture shows this light is for seeds & greens, which I think is more for growing food type greens. How close is the light to your Pothos cuttings? The strongest light is not always the best. Too close or too strong will burn them. Pothos do not need direct light. Do research on who much & the kind of light your Pothos needs.

      I have two of these bulbs and have kept many pothos under them without issue. It sounds like the light is far too close, mine is 2-4 feet above my plants.

      50 ppf isn’t strong. Good grow lights go from 500-1000+ ppf

      One thing you need to understand is that focusing light changes the game. Most grow lights you will see people talking about, like barrina t5s or mars hydro quantum boards, have no focusing whatsoever, which means their light spreads at a very wide angle, more than 120 degrees. That results in people needing to put them very close to the plants to achieve the desired effect and not lose 90% of their output on pointlessly lighting up the wall to their side. Or needing to put them and their plants inside grow tents with reflective sides so that the light going to the sides is not wasted (that’s what those lights are actually designed for and why they don’t care about focusing).

      Meanwhile the grow light you have is par38 meaning that it focuses light into a rather narrow 38 degree cone. This is generally a good thing as it means you are not wasting electricity and also have more flexibility in deciding where to place the lamp, but it means that all the usual advice of “put your light a few inches from the plant” does not apply, the distance will be bigger in your case.

      This is not the strongest bulb, it actually pretty weak. You want a 36W SANSI.
