Ich wollte Ihnen nur meine Tröge zeigen. Mein Vater hat mir netterweise diese Behälter für meinen Garten in meinem ersten Haus gekauft. Ich bin ein völliger Neuling in der Gartenarbeit im Freien, da ich in den letzten 8 Jahren ein engagierter Zimmerpflanzenbesitzer war (oh, und ich hatte auch keinen Garten). Ich wollte hauptsächlich immergrüne Pflanzen, damit ich das ganze Jahr über Interesse habe, und auch Pflanzen, die relativ „einfach“ sind. Ich habe ein wenig recherchiert, war überfordert und beschloss, ins Gartencenter zu gehen und es auf gut Glück zu versuchen. Ich habe 3 Stunden damit verbracht, mich umzusehen und meine Pflanzen auszuwählen, und dies ist das Endprodukt.
Bitte lassen Sie mich wissen, was Sie denken. Wird es gedeihen oder werde ich nächsten Sommer neue Pflanzen kaufen? Gibt es etwas, das Sie ändern würden?

Beautiful!
Keep them well watered during summer/autumn (and keep and eye during winter too) while they establish. I wouldn’t change anything, but I’d keep an eye on the overcrowding when they start filling out. It can cause powdery mildew and they might fail to thrive. Also being a houseplant parent you’ll understand watering etc so that’s not a problem 🙂
Looks a bit crowded, but looks lovely at the moment! Did you check the reach/spread of each plant? You might find that some outcompete each other and some other die as a result, but provided you’re willing to accept that, there should be no major issues!

Beautiful mix of colours and textures, you’ve got a good eye for this! As others have said, there’s probably a bit too much in there, as the plants will all grow quite a bit.

Watch out for some plants that grow more vigorously than others and will take over their section. You might need to move some plants onto other containers.
We learn literally by our mistakes in gardening.
Lose a few plants, get it wrong, miscalculate sizes…. It’s easy done. But you’ve thrown yourself in and made a really good start 👍👍👍

Are any of them climbers?
I’d be very tempted to fix some trellis (you can clamp it to the concrete posts) and get some climbers going up the back.
Is there a liner in the planters?
It looks like not very thick softwood. So may rot quite quickly if it stays damp for extended periods.
Doing well. Next year maybe more space and more compost.
Great start! Some of these will fill out and take more than their space but it’s ok because inevitably not everything survives. You might want to have a rearrange at some point in about 6 months or so.
It’s always a good idea to include some taller stuff so if you add anything make it a tall plant or a climber. Some of these will get pretty tall anyway.

Instant impact, I like it. Some will outgrow the space quickly, Choisya Ternata being the most aggressive. The Hebe and Euonymus not far behind in rate of growth, but still, it’s a moment in time, so well done.
First time is the best. Learn from your mistakes, read a load of stuff and ask loads of questions, us gardeners love a question!
As for the bed, I’d say it’s too many plants but let them grow, see what you like and don’t feel bad about pruning or removing things that don’t work, it’s always an excuse for more plants 😆
If you’re happy with it, then well done. Gardening is an ongoing process. Some of these will grow big, some will die. Some you’ll like, some you won’t. You’ll make mental notes of all this, all part of the ride…
Ask neighbours if you like theirs, ask people in general. You’ll find your thing. Don’t br afraid to try stuff, if it doesn’t work, then no harm done.
Couple of years from now, you’ll be giving advice. Enjoy the learning process.
