Ich habe diese beiden Pflanzen zu meiner Einweihungsfeier geschenkt bekommen. Ich bin mir nicht sicher, um welche Art von Pflanzen es sich handelt, aber ich denke, sie könnten sterben? Kann mir jemand sagen, was mit ihnen falsch sein könnte und ob ich sie retten kann?

Were the leaves yellow when you got it? Can’t tell if it’s supposed to be variegated or not.
Looks like privet, one of the golden variegated varieties. Privet is a semi-evergreen shrub and will usually lose some leaves over winter. I wouldn’t worry, new leaf buds will begin to grow in spring. They’re tough as old boots and will even regrow from hard pruning down to almost stumps.
one seems ok and the other may have had a visit from the box tree moth. They can attack and strip whole bushes. Expect around 3 visits per year!
Needs feeding from spring onwards every 2 weeks minimum
