Meine Mutter hat letzten Sommer diese wunderschöne Monstera bekommen und ihre Wurzeln sind so lang geworden – ich habe gelesen, dass es am besten ist, sie wieder in den Topf zu stecken, aber dafür sind sie wirklich zu lang, also wollte ich sie einfach ein wenig abschneiden. Ist das in Ordnung? Ich möchte sie nicht töten, weil sie meine Lieblingspflanze ist und daher nicht sicher bin, was ich tun soll

I usually cut mine to about the length that they will just reach the soil. Let the cut dry for a day or two then poke them into the pot
It’s okay to trim the roots. If you put them back in the pot after trimming they will continue to grow and add more roots.
You sure can trim them, or guide them into the soil or a moss pole! All work well and more than anything it’s a preference!
I like the look with the long Ariel roots personally, but yes you can trim them and the plant should be fine.
