Ich hätte nicht erwartet, dass das tatsächlich funktioniert, aber hier sind wir. Ich habe drinnen Erdbeeren angebaut, und diese Woche sind die ersten beiden endlich rot geworden 🍓Es kommen immer noch ein paar grüne herein und sogar ein paar neue Blüten kommen zum Vorschein. Was das Licht angeht, stehen sie unter einer Wachstumslampe (hier keine direkte Sonne), und ich bin ehrlich gesagt überrascht, wie gut es ihnen bisher geht. Der Farbwechsel fühlte sich wie ein kleiner Gewinn an, aber er hat mir den Tag versüßt. Ich lerne immer noch, aber es ist ziemlich lohnend, zuzusehen, wie Früchte sich drinnen aus Blumen entwickeln. Ich würde mich über Tipps für die nächste Stufe freuen – insbesondere darüber, wie man die übrigen Früchte gesund und süß hält.

They look fantastic! How can you guys grow strawberries indoors? Mines always end up covered in spider mites no matter how hard I try.

I’ve got 2 fabric pots with a couple strawberry plants in each…2 old plants (3 or 4 years old) and 2 new from runners…and both went through flowering about 1 week apart inside my house.
I’m not sure if I need more light though. I’m using a ViparSpectra 150 watt LED, and it’s running at about 75%. The berries that grew were a little small.
I went into this hoping to get a bunch of new runners through the winter to then put outside in the spring. I just received a set of 12 new fabric pots to put them in, if my plants end up running, and if I have enough room under the light.
Very happy for your success with your indoor strawberry endeavors. Keep at it.
