Meine erhöhte Pfefferpflanze produziert immer noch. In London. Ende November. Was ist das für eine Zauberei?

The sorcery is climate change. Peppers in November is nice, but we’re all fucked.

  2. Our bean plant was going for round two as well. It’s crazy and scary.

Wait what is this? I love it, but why, just for extra or sun?

Ok, tell me more about this contraption.

I can’t really tell by this picture if the peppers are actually in soil on that platform, or have they been trained up…

Weather this year in the UK has been… whack, to say the least. Climate change fr.

How many storeys high are you raising the bed with that fantastic contraption?

Are you extending the length of the growing day?

Just finished off my tomatoes, they may have kept fruiting had I topped them in October.

  8. We only just harvested our last tomatoes here on our roof in SW15…

They’re thriving because they’re elevated, city gardens are always a fair few degrees warmer. Concrete, stone, and brick retain heat.
    They look very good 👍.

My nasturtiums kept on trucking right up until Friday morning, and that is in Scotland. If the cold snap ended one day earlier, they’d still be going.

It’s probably fighting to make sure the fruits mature for survival, if you harvest them all it may give up.

So glad I’m not the only person here saying ‘climate change’ because that would have really depressed me.

I’ve got half a row of (I assumed failed) spring onions that have sprouted. And going strong

Is the sorcery the fact you seem to have rigged up a pulley system to elevate them above whatever shade they would otherwise be sat in!?

(I’m genuinely curious, what is all that?)

My raspberries are going for a very bountiful and tasty Round 2.

In contrast, my ground planted chillies had finished fruiting well in advance, and died in the sub zero temps last few nights.

    Also in London.

Global climate change. The “sorcery” is humans as pestilence.

If you think ropes and pulleys (2000 year old tech) is wizards never open your car bonnet, you will shit yourself!

Sorry if you’re posted details elsewhere (I did scroll a couple of pages and didn’t see).

Tell us more about the rig?

    Peppers look awesome btw.

I wonder if our plants are preparing for a famine or drought?
