Yes, but is it wet? Water on the leaf could cause rot. But yes, just leave it alone, ignore it and it should shoot out some roots.

Ive read online to “mist” the cuttings but all that does is make them rot.

Sometimes someone will intentionally mist the substrate then lay the leaves down. But I’ve never been advised to continue to mist them for the duration. Doing that could certainly cause rot. I lay mine on grit and put them up on a shelf where I forget about them.

i just had my first successful prop with a similar plant. i let the leaf sit out and dry for a few days to let the end callus up and prevent root rot. then i flipped it over and covered just the callused end in soil and misted every couple days or when the leaf started getting pruny
