Mein Mann erzählte jemandem, für den er gearbeitet habe, dass ich Pflanzen mag, und er brachte dieses Haus für mich nach Hause. Sie erzählte ihm, dass es im Wasser besser wächst, obwohl derjenige, den sie ihm gab, in Schmutz war. Aber sie hat ihm nicht gesagt, was es ist.
Die Blätter haben einen Durchmesser von etwa 1 bis 2 Zoll und ziemlich kreisförmig.
Irgendwelche Ideen? Ich habe das Gefühl, dass es nicht so überleben kann, wie es ist, aber ich würde es gerne glücklich machen.

Water hyacinth. They have nice flowers.
Water hyacinth. They can grow in just water or a combination of loamy soil and water. They produce very pretty purple flowers. Grow it inside in a wide planter with no drainage holes. Don’t put it in a pond as it is invasive.
Basically likes full/part sun and nutrient rich water. Mine never did well inside, but they are a nice addition to koi ponds. They are a floating plant.
They’re invasive in warmer regions, but where I live they wouldn’t make it through winter.
If you really want it as a houseplant, it will need all the light you can give it.

Highly invasive, don’t have it in a climate that doesn’t actually freeze.
Yeah, so, turns out it should have never been given to me. In my state, it’s not supposed to be distributed. There are guidelines on how to dispose of it, too.
So I will be keeping it isolated and not letting it near any water sources!
